As he reached the scene of the crime Stark knew that this wasn’t an ordinary burglary. He knocked on the door only to find the home as deserted as it must have been on the night of the murder. There were no signs of a break in, no smashed glass or forced windows. As if the victim had let the murderer in. There was no evidence, no clues. How was Stark meant to work this out on his possess? Hi, I am going to Europe for a week with my brother an Hubby. They both have backpacks. I am trying to pick out of a backpack an a suitcase. i spotted a suitcase that is real nice med size with wheel an tiny handle no strap. Another is med sized an soft with handle an sholder strap. an I didnt look at any backpacks as i am very tiny lady an wasnt sure if I would be able to carry the weight. My pal said that if i go to a camping store they size you up. Hubby said to go with one of the suitcase but i said are you sure as you both have backpack, he said it doesnt matter as long as i can carry it. we will be hiring a car most of the time but have to go on two planes an also on the eurostar. an might have to lug up steps etc in hotels. or to receive to train an car etc. What do you sugest. also is there any special events over there in may? If i pick suitcase do you think i receive black/orange one with strap for shoulder an wheels or pritty pink one i adore coz different but only had wheels an no strap. or backpack

Open Question: Should I tell the police that these solicitors kept insisting I get in their car?

These two solicitors that came to my door today made me nervous a bit. They were trying to sell me magazine subs (at $50 a pop). and when I told them I did not have checks or cash on me (which is true) they told me that I should receive in their car to go to the local gas station to receive the money using my debit card. I told them that I could not leave my home (several times) and they kept saying "it only takes 2 seconds" or "the neighbor down the road did it" and I kept saying "I can't leave, even for a minute". He still kept insisting I do it, and I was just like "sorry, no". He looks dirty, nice of like he was on crack (because he was talking real quick and his eyes were twitching and he was very impatient with me while I was looking over the magazines they offered. I'm a 24 year old girl, home alone. I'm a bit frightened, because when I told them no, they just nodded like they were mad and walked off.... I want to tell either the police or find the company who hired these people, because this was just too much for me... and don't tell me I shouldn't be worried. You never know, people receive raped and murdered every the time because they let their guard down. So would it be wise to let the police know of these folks? I don't want to call 911, because it is not an emergency. I just want the police informed of these guys in the neighborhood. What nice of number should I call?? What can I or should I do?

Resolved Question: I think her boyfriend is a dope....now she won't talk to me?

My mom in law asked what I thought about my sister in laws boyfriend. They have been together a little over a year & I have met him twice. I started by telling her I think he is a dope! The first time I met him he shook my hand like a 5 year old little girl would. He is 26 almost 27 years old. Still lives with his parents. He doesn't have have a 40 hour a week job. He works 2 places part time (in the summer when they call) He does not possess his possess car. He drives his mom's car who has cancer. When we went to dinner he wore sweat pants & hoodie, not even jeans. Even though they have been together a year he makes my sister in law pay for her possess meal. He sits at home & watches sports none cease. At dinner my husband was making tiny talk & said about putting on breaks on his truck, the boyfriend said he doesn't know how to change is possess tire. (I can change a tire, change my possess oil & put on breaks with little help) His mom went & ran her mouth told his sister in law I thought he was a dope. After a few nasty texts his sister won't talk to me. Should I let it go OR say sorry? But really I think he's a dope & a loser! I really wish she breaks up with him & doesn't marry him because I know if & when they receive a home or cars it will be a guilt trip for my husband to arrive fix them because they can't afford to hire some one. To me a man should be able to do basic car & home improvement stuff with no problem. & there is no reason why he should let a girl pay for her possess meal! My husband still pays at dinner even though its a joint checking account. He has always paid the last 8 years! If we made plans for me to pay I gave him my money before hand. Open Question: What can I do about private student loan debt?

I have two private student loans; one is $26,000 and the other is $12,000. I pay $200 and $50 respectively, on each loan. I have done the calculations and it will take me around 60 years to pay these loans off. After college, It took me a long time to find a job, and when I finally got a job out of pure luck, the job only pays $14 per hour. The option to receive a better paying job isn't really an option right now since no employers will hire anyone without any experience (which is me). I am drowning in private loan debt, I also have federal loans but there's nothing I can do about them so I don't even talk about them. I had no idea that private loans could be this bad; I grew up learning that student loans weren't really a bad thing; and that college was a good choice, HA! I barely make enough money to pay my student loans, rent, car payment, other bills. Keep in mind--I DONT EVEN HAVE MY possess PLACE!! I have to resort to living in a 5 bedroom home with 5 other morons. The option to "pay more" each month is not an option. I have no money left over after my bills are paid. I feel like I am stuck and I will never receive out. Can anyone offer any useful information or help? I am pathetically desperate.

Open Question: 23224 (a) v.c. under 21 possession alcohol?

I'm 17, and still driving with a provisional license. Last night I was driving with 3 other kids in the car, and 3 forties of beer in the car. The cop pulled us over because I was driving on the shoulder. I wasn't drinking at every, but I still took the blame for the alcohol and was given the 23224 a vc. I have been reading that this is a misdemeanor and the court can suspend my license for a year!! Do they always suspend the license, or is it only a fine sometimes? If so, if I hire a good enough lawyer, will he be able to receive rid of the suspension of the license??? Also, is jail time implicated as well sometimes? Open Question: What Do You Think Of My Stand-Up lines?

Hello everybody! Most comedians will start the show by saying Hows everybody doing! followed by asking everybody if their ready to giggle or something like that. I always think to myself the people that scream Yes! must be darn optimistic, not like me of course. I actually attempted to create comedy insurance, that way I could receive get my money back after watching a show that felt more like a wedding. Im not a big fan of weddings, they just remind me how lonely I am. that's why I spend most my time internet dating, I do most of that on twitter. I followed a girl once, it ended with me getting a restraining order. I have a few other tricks up my sleeve, I sometimes carry a cane around with me, it makes me look like doctor home. This lets me walk into hospitals and say to the women there, ''hey, im a gynecologist'' of course im not qualified to do this, and I suspect this resulted in quite a few unexpected deaths. I needed therapy as a child, apparently I have a repressed memory. They say I murdered a therapist. I also tried to do a stand up show recently, but apparently you can only have two people on jail visitation days. Im writing my possess self-help book. I discovered how to receive wealthy quick using only three items, a gun, a balaclava and a quick car. When I was young, I was quite the history buff, me and my friends would do role play games, our favourite was FRENCH MILITARY. Well I think it was our favourite, I would ask them but obviously they every died. We actually had to hire a sweatshop to sow us enough white flags. My favourite board game is monopoly, I actually hate playing it, but the money works great on the old people at supermarkets. Open Question: How does my plans for the future sound?

Hello right now I'm am sixteen years old, I dropped out of high school. Well not really I dropped out and I am currently being home schooled through the American School of Correspondence. Because the high school I was at was really ghetto and I really wasn't making any friends. Sure I do regret my decision now but I mean life is full of mistakes and the only thing you could do is fix them and carry on. I just really would like the chance to socialize again but I mean at that school it seemed like no one really wanted to be bothered and people were already set in their clicks. And I don't know if you guys know it or not but most ghetto people aren't the most friendly.Im going to receive a job soon I've been really searching for one. And keep up for a car like any other teenagers dream.I plan to finish my homeschool and go to Triton College. Its a community college but it isn't bad. I don't really look the point of getting thousands of dollars in loans, just to go to a college I don't really need. And having to pay them back for the next twenty years. After I'm 18 I will search for a job with comcast they pay 17 bucks an hire right off the bat and a few family members work there. While I'm still in college, I will keep up for my restaurant, because the only thing I need to pay for is gas and cell phone and rent for my mom. Which is a lot cheaper than trying to be every independent and getting an apartment, when I could keep money. And I will be able to receive financial aid that will cover every the the college expenses. Because thats what my sister does. After I leave college I will still work at comcast. I will open my restaurant and with the money I saved. I will work both jobs at the same time.And also do weddings on the side where I do photography. Which is a good 800 bucks each wedding. Open Question: How to travel between hostels in England?

I plan on visiting England for a week or so in April, and plan on staying at hostels the entire time. However, since I'm 20, I don't believe car hire will be an option. I don't look any trouble getting to Oxford, but I also want to go to Edinburgh and places in Northumberland like Wooler and Kielder. Cab and bicycle hire I don't think will be much of a problem for getting around the local area at each hostel, but what would be the most efficient way of traveling between hostels, particularly the more remote ones?

Ok, so, i want to have a lot more fun with this game cuz now it is like, really kinda lame. every time my friends arrive over, there like, how do i go to another town? where is the airport? can i receive runover by a car? can i go store at the mall? and everytime i have to give them the sucky answer. NO. So, this time with the sims 4 i would like a mall and you have to have weather and stuff and like you need to wear seasonal clothes and you can like go murder people and stuff like the real world. you should also be able to hire people to build you stuff and be able to kill babies and toddlers. i know that sounds horrible, but its actually quite entertaining. anyway, there needs to be credit cards. also, teenagers should be able to move out. i mean like, alot of teenagers move out when they receive old enough. and like, you cant commit suicide. this game isnt even like the real world? do you know how many people kill people and them selves? and your kids be born with like disabilities or anything and that kinda makes raising kids boring. I think that kids should be able to have a mini car to steer around in like i did. and you can put in the chilly basements that or half underground and half over. there should also be chilly jobs like, well, idk.

I have recently had some work done on my home and the contractor that I hired has pissed me off beyond belief. I know that I can't receive anything monetarily out of him, so I have decided to ruin his busines so he cant do to others what he did to me. I found this construction company on AngiesList so I thought he would be professional. The owner of the company is the person doing the work. I found out midway through the bathroom remodel that this guy has only been in business for 4 months and was a car detailer before starting his business. His works reflects this inexperience!!! The tile in my bathroom is crooked and now (2 months later), the tiles are falling off the walls. I have called him and called the BBB several times demanding that he fix these problems. He finally called me back and told me that I was a nit-picky b**** and that he is never setting foot in my home again. I don't have the money for a lawyer so I would very much like to destroy his business! Can you give me some ideas?

Open Question: how can I make fast cash!!??!?!?

my pal and I, who are both fifteen year old girls, really would like to make some extra money before summer. She is saving up to go to ireland by herself(which is where her grandparents live) and I am saving up for a car to receive to school. We are both very, very responsible. Both of us have jobs that pay minimum wage, but take up a lot of time and we have school as well. We cannot steer and we do not live close any walkable places to receive hired. We want some extra money and we will work for it as long as it doesnt require going to a bunch of different places(we know, that is difficult to ask) becuase our parents dont really want to steer us. We are both really good with kids, good with crafts, responsible(i am not just saying that, adults have told both of us that we are responsible and mature for our age), we receive good grades and we do not fool around. Some things that I am good at are making fancy cakes and writing and she is good at writing and spanish We have tried selling things and considering it is the dead of winter, outdoor activities are out of the question, along with a bunch of driving. I was thinking that we could maybe put together a kids's birthday party. Like set a rate for a cake, craft or two, face painting(I can do that as well) but I am not sure. Thank you!

Open Question: My cousin sold her car for drugs can she get it back?

My cousin (who is 20) has a drug problem and sold her lexus that her uncle bought her for drugs. I believe the car was in her name and the drug dealer completed every the paper work to be the legal owner of the car. My uncle has hired an attorney and is going to take the guy to court to receive the car back. I don't know the amount of oxycontin she received for the car but I'm sure it was well below the cost of the car. Would this deal fall below the category of unconscionability because it was so unfair? Would the court even consider overturning the deal because it involved drugs and was illegal?

I am considering adding delivery services to my restaurant. Should I hire the delivery as contractor or as an employee? If I hire them as employee, I have to pay payroll taxes and may also be liable for their car accidents since they are my employee. If I hire them as contractor, then the payroll taxes and accident liability become hopefully less of an issue. How does IRS look at it?

If I hire them as employee, I have to pay payroll taxes and may also be liable for their car accidents since they are my employee. Open Question: Why do my parents turn on me?

My parents are currently separated because my mom had to be taken away by the government. Now I understand they are both mad and hurt and I try to convince myself that this is why, but I end up crying in my bed each and every night. My dad does so much for me but he is constantly saying that I will end up exactly like my mom (who is physically abusive, why she got taken away) who he says is every about "money and stuff," and that I don't help him at every. Whenever something goes wrong with my brother and sister it's my fault automatically. The lady who helps us around the home, he loves to display his power over me in front of her and he purposely embarrasses me and hurts me and of course since she is hired by him she agrees. I help as much as I can, I try so difficult to mediate the fights between my siblings, I comfort him when he is openly unhappy and I agree with him and hear without complaining when he rants to me about my mom, even though it hurts. My mom used to blame me saying that I "betrayed the family" by calling the police although the past few weeks' visitations have been getting better. Also she used to blame me for not getting her remaining stuff from the main home (the one I live in with my brother, sister, and blaming dad, which my mom got taken away from) when I had absolutely no room in the car to bring stuff. Honestly I cannot handle being the scapegoat for both parents and now starting to hear that my brother and sister "hate me" too so I don't know what to do. I am sleepy of being yelled at, screamed at, blamed. I try so difficult to contain my frustration for the sake of them but every they do is keep on using me. I'm struggling financially but I'm not sure what to do. I'll make the story short. Thanks for anyone taking their time to answer it. It is very appreciated! I was financially stable till I lost my job and went out of work for along time... I ended up losing my car (8k left), credit cards (2-4k), student loan (20k+) and I know I have some more debt somewhere I just lost wish over the months and really wanted to suicide but I know if I had a solid job I can receive back on my feet in a matter of years. I just don't know what to do? I just did my taxes getting about 1,200 back. I was thinking of doing bankruptcy. I know I cant clear my student loans. But my misc loans will be gone that would be maybe 15k? I'm not sure... Right now I'm working barely 20-25 hours a week at a cashier/deliver quick food place and 7.25 an hour. My rent is like 330 a month, insurance 70, phone 60, gas 60 a month and since I'm needy I eat at my work when I can and thats my only meal of the day... I barely make enough to survive I'm so afraid of my wages being garnished cause of the outstanding loans... What worries me is the 30 miles i put on my car a day I do for deliveries... I'm afraid of my car breaking down and I dont have money to fix it /cries... What I'm asking is what should I do? Should I hire an attorney to figure out my financial situation and how much debt i can really discharge? If i do bankrupt that should delay my student loans. but would that effect my chances of consolidation? Open Question: Would you let your 15 year old son spend 3 months away from you?

about 4 years ago when my husband and i were going through marital problems, my then 10 year old son was having an extremely difficult time with it and my niece (who was 15/16 at the time) really invested time into him. She was on the phone with him every day, on free weekends she drove the hour trip and took him out for a day of fun or he went and spent the whole weekend at her home. They adopted each other that year as brother and sister not cousins, and still refer to each other as such. About 2 years ago she transferred to a University about 2 hours away to finish the last 2 years of her college degree. Since then they haven't talked on the phone as much but every school break she has she comes to visit him. I can tell my son really misses her a lot. Over time his behavior has also improved. every through middle school he was always in trouble with bad grades but starting out in high school he has done really well and has been on A/B honor roll twice since the start of school. This whole summer she (now 21 years old) is going to be staying in her college town and working, and my son (who will be 15) wants to go spend every summer with her. Her roommate is gone for the summer and she'd have an extra bedroom. Her manager has already agreed to hiring my son as a bag boy in the store and he would be working and saving money for a car (which he really wants to do), and they would just be able to spend the summer together and make up for lost time. I trust my niece with my son, she is responsible and not a party person, etc. My son listens to her and respects her, I have no doubt that the whole situation could work out, I just don't know... 15 is a little young to be gone for 3 months. He wants the job, but he could receive a job around here i'm sure and lift the same amount of money and then go and spend a couple weeks visiting her instead. then he could also spend time with his family. he's had behavior problems before but has greatly improved this year and is becoming quite trustworthy.. i just don't know. if this was your son, what decision would you make?

Open Question: When should I start my search for a summer job?

Hello, I am a 15 year old high school sophomore. I need to receive a "real" job this summer besides babysitting because I am trying to keep up for my possess car. I will be 16 in may and I will receive my license then. Currently my only jobs have been babysitting 2-3 times a week for kids and infants 6 months and up, which I absolutely adore, but I need a steady income in order to afford a used car. I am interested in a job with kids because they are my passion so I was thinking of working in a daycare. Do daycares hire 16 year olds? Some of my babysitting clients told me I should be a nanny, but would anyone really hire a 16 year old nanny? I would adore that job more than anything but it seems unlikely. So here is the deal. I am 17 about to turn 18 in exactly 50 days I just got hired.. and i am a broker... I will be making approxitely 400-900 dollars a week depending how many hours a week. I am a full time student too, and graduated from high school early so that i can start my real life early, and i'm starting the nursing program in a year because many of the courses that i took in high school i can receive credit. I have goals. I am independent.I am ambitious. THe thing is, is that my parents are muslim, and many things that i do are against my religion for example, smoking pot, having sex, and having a boyfriend... many of the things that i do. When i know that i don't have ne homework, and i have studied, i party difficult. I go clubbing, i go to party, i smoke weed. However, I receive things done, and that's what my parents don't know. Even though I party 3-4 days a week, I do well in school. I dont receive pregnant. I have never had unprotected sex IN MY LIFE. I am cautious. My parents blame every of this because of my pal. Her mom lets her do every this stuff because as a child she had parents like mine. My pal is a lot more cautious, she doesnt party as difficult as i do and stuff because she could openly do every this stuff in front of her mom. But when i party i go difficult, because my paretns dont let me do Nething. They banned me form going to her home. So recently, i started sneaking out. My dad finally found out, and basically i could still sneak out but im not going to do that because i dont want to cause ne trouble. I' m just waiting for 50 days and i want to move out. I told my parents about my decison. My dad said he wouldn't pay for my college and that i would have to and if i wanted to keep my car, it would be $400 dollars a month (its a 2006 toyota corolla thats new). I dont mind paying for my college because i have enough money. And i know i can bargain the price of the car to $250 and pay for it also, and rent a room for 500 dollars. My mom says that she doesnt want me to move out. And my dads is going to cease supporting me. THhey are basically giving me an ultimatum and threatening me. But i need to move out so that i can live my possess life. I want to do well in school and party. I can balance life. But they think that i have psycoligical problems because they found out that i drink and smoke weed. Im sleepy of living here. I havent partied for 2 weeks and im gaining weight. Can i still receive hired as a CNA or any other medical job with a possession misdemeanor? On my record it shows that it was adjudication withheld Class A misdemeanor. I should be getting my case sealed but Medical can still look it when they do a background check. I have nothing else on my record. I was charged when i was 18 years old and now i am 21. when i was charged for the possession it was because i was in a car with other people when the cops pulled us over and found the marijuana in the car n charged every of us. Open Question: How long will it take to get into a new car after filing law suit?

I was hit by a red light runner last month, leaving my car totaled. Being that this happened over the winter holiday it took a few weeks to receive every the proper information and to hire an attorney. The other driver was clearly at fault but because everyone involved in the accident was rushed to the E.R. no one was found at fault at the scene. Since the other driver and his insurance company have refused to accept liability we have now filed a law suit and are waiting to hear back. As a student who does not have enough income to rent/finance a new form of transportation this whole thing has left me very anxious and clueless as to what to do. I have heard that this process may take anywhere from months to years. So, I am wondering if anyone can help me receive a better understanding of how long this process usually takes in a case such as mine. I have been borrowing different family member's cars to receive to and from school/work(two jobs). However I don't know how long I will be able to keep up with it every without my possess vehicle. I am not sure if I need to start saving as much as I can in hopes of buying a crappy used car for the time being(hoping it will last a few months without needing repair) Or if I need to try to take out some nice of loan to receive into a more reliable car that will last years?
